Khalistan National Football team members have returned home with smiles on their faces and victory on their minds after making history today by having a 3-0 win against Tamil Eelam.
The match – taking place at Club Des Sports in London, on Sunday June 5 – began with speeches, followed by both teams’ national anthems and flags raised for the opening ceremony.
Mandeep Singh opened the scoring with an absolute worldie from the halfway line, followed by Kabz Singh getting through 1v1 and slotting home expertly.
Capped off by outstanding feet and arrived finish from Harvey Singh.
Organiser Deepa Singh from Sikh Youth UK, talking about the match said: “The amount of pressure that was put onto both nations to stop this match by the Indian and UK government bodies was insane.
“The Khalistan management team would like to thank our Tamil Eelam allies for making sure they did everything on their side, just like we did on our side of Khalistan, to make today a historic moment for both nations.”
Well done to all the players who represented the Sikh nation well and proudly.
