People interested in learning more about Sikh history have the chance to register for a 14-week Sikh Studies course starting this October.
The course, organised by the Sikh Education Council, will be held in various locations, including Hitchin, Slough and Central London.
The lessons are designed to look at Sikh history, culture and ideology through interactive group lessons.
Registering for the course is a no-obligation RSVP, people who don’t wish to stay will not be required to attend the classes.
One of the organisers, speaking about the course, said: “We hope you’ll attend the Introduction session to make an informed decision about whether this is for you, but it is not a compulsory part of the course.
“You can join us at any time throughout the fourteen weeks although you’d be expected to make up the earlier classes you missed next time around before moving on to Y.2.”
Introductory sessions are being held on:
Thursday 14 October in central London (University students only) from 6pm-7.30pm
Saturday 16 October in Slough from 6.30pm-8pm
Sunday 17 October in Hitchin from 1.30pm-3pm
