Sikh Youth UK – national organisation raising awareness on social evils and supporting victims of sexual grooming – has recently launched its 5th annual magazine called “Activists 2021”.
The magazine was released on March 31 and it highlights and brings awareness to issues faced by Sikhs in the UK.
Activists 2021 is a powerful tool that helps understand important issues that the Sikh panth has faced and is still facing now.
These include the Kisaan movement, the oppression against Sikhs in 1984, the abduction of activist Jagtar Singh Johal and much more.
Sexual grooming is another major issue that many youngsters are currently facing in the UK and Sikh Youth UK (SYUK) explained how to spot the signs and what is the help and support available.
To stimulate action and self-mobilisation it is vital to understand the issues we face and the magazine helps you do that. To read the online version of Activists 2021 visit https://issuu.com/sikhyouthuk/docs/activists_2021
SYUK are also encouraging the panth to raise a Nishan Sahib (Kesari Flag) this Vaisakhi on April 13 as a message of unity.
The SYUK team said: “This Vaisakhi we urge all Sikhs to unite and raise your Kesari Flags from your homes and cars as we celebrate the special occasion of Vaisakhi.”
